Opportunities for Giving
We need your support in order to continue to bring the gift of words and pictures to the children.  Please consider a gift to help encourage the significance of reading.  There are various opportunities to support the First R Foundation:
Philanthropic Gifts
$500 - all books for one grade at one school for one year
$250 – books for all classrooms at one school for six months
$100 - a book for all classrooms at one school for one month
$50 - a book for one classroom at one school for one month 
Securities
When a gift of securities is made, the donor receives the full value of the stock as a tax write-off without paying capital gains taxes.  A gift of securities may be made by contacting your broker and giving a written request with delivery instructions to First R Foundation.
Matching Gifts
Many companies have a matching gift policy that may double a contribution made by an employee.  Your company’s human resources department may provide the necessary information and matching gift forms.  
Life Insurance
The First R Foundation may be named as the principal beneficiary of your insurance policy or ownership of the policy may be transferred.
